Karate-Do, the way of karate, is not synonymous with violence, but with its absence. At our karate club, we practice the Wado Ryu style, which means "way" and "harmony" in Japanese. This style is unique, developed in central Japan, and combines the essence of the teachings of ancient samurais. If you're an adult and want to learn a martial art that will balance your mind and body, Wado Ryu is the perfect choice for you. Our classes are not very physically demanding, but will still provide you with a captivating and beneficial experience. Although it may seem different from other karate styles, which are heavily influenced by Chinese culture and focus mainly on strikes and blocks, Wado Ryu is a completely different style. It will offer you a unique perspective on martial arts and develop your mental and physical abilities in a harmonious way. At our martial arts club, we carefully select our athletes to ensure that there is no violence during our training. The training model we apply in the karate classes for children in sector 2, karate classes for children in sector 5, as well as in adult karate classes in Bucharest, provides participants with the confidence they need to succeed in sports, but also in life. Having confidence leads to a different inner dialogue that changes their attitude towards themselves first, and this has a great effect on their relationships with others by eliminating bullying. The karate classes for children in sector 2 through ACS ShuHaRi include: the sport part which represents only 10% of what Japanese martial arts represent. the Budo (traditional) part with principles and techniques that are much deeper and larger than the sport part. the lifestyle part, which includes the first two, through which Wado Ryu practitioners learn how to live in peace, harmony, with a calm mind in any difficult situation.
