Asociatia Patronala a Prelucratorilor de Mase Plastice, Bucureşti

ASPAPLAST - the Romanian Plastics Processor Employer's Assocition - has 60 members, private companies that process over 60% of all plastic materials in Romania, with a total turnover of approximately 100 million Euro.

ASPAPLAST is the only Romanian association in this industry and may be joined by any domestic company involved in plastics business .

The association works for professional interests of plastic converters as well as acts as an interface for its members, follows the domestic and foreign development in production, processing and application of plastics and provides its members with updated information in this regard .

ASPAPLAST is an associated member of "EuPC" (European Plastic Converters) in Brussels. It is also an affliated member of "FEPACHIM" (Romanian Employer's Federation of Chemical & Petrochemical Industry), member of "CCIB" (The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest), member of ADER and UGIR-1903. Since the begining of 2003 is a permanent member of CCIR (The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania).
Main activities of ASPAPLAST: m
Representing the interests of plastics industry and member companies in front of central and local aithorities.
Promoting the co-operation with state institutions in order to adopt or modify the legislation according to members needs.
Collecting and supplying technical and legislative information to its members, for strong support of a long-term plastic industry development; drafting of policy proposals in connection with the plastics industry.
In cooperation with domestic and foreign partners and educational institutes, organizes symposia, colloquia, fair and conferences and debates on technical and of the day issues.
Developing good contacts to organisations within manufacturing sector that use plastic products as well as with those in charge of qualification of authorisation.
