La citta dell'amore, Venice, is one of the most romantic towns in the world with its impressive gondolas, with Porte Rialto, with Piazza San Marco, with Pallazzo Ducale, and, because we are in Bucharest, we recomposed since the year 2007, on the shore of Floreasca lake, a small part of Venice, at "La Gondola" restaurant, thought, designed and constructed by a famous Venetian architect. The Venetian style, black and red colours, the Venetian authentic hand-made masks, the landscape's unique beauty from the lake's shore as well as the Venetian tasteful dishes delight and awake emotions and memories to those which stride in "La Gondola" restaurant. The tasteful dishes charm sits in the ingredients and unmistakable flavours freshness because herbs are habitual, from salads and meat to cheese, fish, sea food: oregano, rosemary, savoury, mint, dill, parsley. Fresh fish, home-made pastes, squids and shrimps marinated after traditional recipes, olives and capers, with this kind of natural ingredients the result cannot be but one of a good fit. Meat is prepared especially grilled, sometimes marinated before and olives, lemon, garlic and rosemary are ingredients habitual for any typical Mediterranean meal from "La Gondola" restaurant. At our restaurant, meals are an occasion that family, friends, colleagues or business partners to gather together at meal and therefore they eat never on the run, they like meals served in open air on the lake's shore at noon or in late evening sprinkled with white or red wine from famous Italian or Romanian vineyards. A good meal starts with appropriate antipasti made in Venetian style, tartar or carpacio from tuna or salmon, sea food marinated with lime, black pepper, ginger but also antipasti dell'antica macelleria with prosciutto, mortadella and parmigiano.
